Driving Sustainability: Topspeed's Commitment to a Greener Future

At Topspeed Couriers, our mission is clear: Driving Sustainability. We are committed to achieving Net Zero by 2040, with the goal of operating a fully electric vehicle fleet by 2027. Through continuous investment in greener technologies and practices, we are taking bold steps to reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to a sustainable future.

Certified Environmental Leadership

Topspeed holds certifications for ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 14064 Carbon Reduction, reflecting our dedication to stringent environmental standards. These certifications guide our strategies in reducing emissions and waste while ensuring we remain accountable and transparent in our environmental efforts.

Our Carbon Reduction Plan

Central to our environmental strategy is our Carbon Reduction Plan. By utilising a sophisticated carbon accounting engine, we can accurately calculate our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. This approach allows us to identify areas for further savings and implement targeted initiatives that reduce our overall carbon footprint. You can view the full details of our Carbon Reduction Plan.

Scope 1 and 2 Emissions: Controlling Our Footprint

Thanks to our short supply chain and entirely in-house service provision, approximately 75% of our emissions come from Scope 1 (direct vehicle emissions) and Scope 2 (indirect emissions from purchased energy). This structure allows us to maintain precise control over our emissions, enabling us to track, reduce, and report our progress in line with our environmental goals.

The Road to Net Zero by 2040

Our Net Zero 2040 target reflects our long-term vision for a sustainable future. By focusing on innovation, efficiency, and accountability, we are on track to meet this ambitious goal. A key component of this plan is the transition to a fully electric vehicle fleet by 2027, which will drastically reduce our direct emissions and reinforce our commitment to sustainability.
