Following the announcement of his expanded Health & Safety responsibilities earlier this year, Steven has continued to strengthen Topspeed’s safety framework with a series of new qualifications, practical training, and leadership activities.
Since taking on the enhanced role, Steven has successfully completed his PAT testing course and is now responsible for testing and maintaining the appliances used daily within the Topspeed hub. This ensures all equipment remains fully compliant and supports a safe working environment across the operation.
In addition, Steven has now begun his NEBOSH course, a key step toward further developing his professional competence in health and safety management. This qualification will deepen his understanding of risk management and compliance, supporting Topspeed’s ongoing commitment to high operational standards.
As part of his continued leadership in workplace safety, Steven also serves as Topspeed’s Head Fire Marshall, one of a team of 11 designated Fire Marshalls across the business. He recently delivered the annual refresher training to the full marshall team, ensuring everyone remains confident, prepared, and compliant with Topspeed’s fire safety and emergency procedures.
This training forms an essential part of the company’s year-round commitment to maintaining a safe and well-prepared workplace for all employees, visitors, and clients.
Steven’s continued development reflects Topspeed’s culture of investing in its people and ensuring safety remains at the heart of everything the business does.
