Topspeed is proud to celebrate a fantastic achievement as apprentice Wiktor has been named Green Technician of the Year at the Apprenticeship and Skills Awards 2026.
The award was presented on Thursday 12th February 2026 at the Ellesmere Port Campus of Cheshire College South & West, recognising Wiktor’s outstanding performance on the Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship programme.
This marks the second time a Topspeed apprentice has received an award at the prestigious Apprenticeship and Skills Awards, a clear reflection of the company’s continued commitment to developing future automotive talent.
Wiktor’s success highlights not only his technical ability and commitment to high standards, but also his dedication to sustainable practices within the motor vehicle industry. The Green Technician of the Year category celebrates apprentices who demonstrate excellence in environmentally responsible servicing, diagnostics and maintenance, an increasingly important focus as the automotive sector continues to evolve.
Gillian Lockley, Managing Director of Topspeed, said “This is an excellent achievement and is the second apprentice from Topspeed to win an award. Wiktor, well done, you should be really proud of your achievement.”
Matthew Halliwell, Workshop Manager, and Stephen Clegg, CEO, attended the ceremony to support Wiktor and celebrate the occasion, a proud moment for the entire Topspeed team.
Investing in apprenticeships remains a key part of Topspeed’s future growth strategy. By supporting high-quality training and encouraging innovation in sustainable vehicle maintenance, the company continues to build a skilled workforce ready for the demands of tomorrow’s automotive industry.
