Topspeed Drives Sustainability with Pre-Loved Uniform Programme

Topspeed Drives Sustainability with Pre-Loved Uniform Programme - proving that sustainability is more than just a goal—it's embedded in every part of the business.

At Topspeed, sustainability is more than just a goal—it’s embedded in every part of the business.

One initiative championing this commitment is our newly launched Pre-Loved Uniform Programme, led by the HR department. This programme repurposes uniforms in good condition, reducing waste while ensuring drivers always have access to high-quality gear.

Cherise Duffy, HR Manager, explains the straightforward yet impactful nature of the programme: “We collect uniforms returned by drivers, wash them thoroughly, and make them available for team members. These pre-loved uniforms are stored in a dedicated space, and drivers are free to choose what they need.”

This initiative not only supplements new uniforms but also provides backup for drivers who may have damaged an item and need a temporary replacement while waiting for new stock. It helps reduce the company’s environmental footprint and aligns with Topspeed’s values of resourcefulness and care.

When uniforms are no longer fit for use, Topspeed ensures they don’t end up in landfill and elements are then used as rags within the workshop and warehouse.

Through the Pre-Loved Uniform Programme, Topspeed is taking another step toward a more sustainable future. It reflects the company’s dedication to minimising waste and maximising the lifecycle of its resources, proving that sustainability can be seamlessly integrated into everyday operations.
