In August we reported that Topspeed had taken delivery of two Mercedes e-Vito vehicles, kickstarting our electric fleet.
Since then, four more have joined our fleet, and we are delighted to announce that a further four will arrive early in 2023. This will mean that almost 8% of our fleet is electric and that figure will continue to grow over the following years.
To support our growing fleet of electric vehicles we have made some changes at Topspeed, these include:
- The installation of charging points at our Operations Hub in Winsford
- The development and implementation of specific electric vehicle training for our drivers through the Topspeed Academy
- Training in the management and maintenance of e-Vito vehicles through the in-house Topspeed workshop
Two electric vans are permanently based in Scotland to support customer contracts in that region.
