There has been a period of growth at Topspeed over the summer months with:
- 11 new drivers joining the team
- Continued development of a warehouse team serving the next day market including the recruitment of 9 warehouse operatives
- Winning a further substantial CCS Contract for Secure same day delivery
- the purchase of several new vehicles to the fleet, including six long bases, one medium base and just arrived, four Vito vans
Dave Turner, Commercial Director comments “three years ago the Topspeed Board set out their five-year plan that included a focus on next-day secure shipments. The move to larger premises in Winsford in 2019 was part of those plans and has increased our ability to support our clients requiring this service.
“In a year where so many have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown restrictions, we are proud that we have been able to stay on track and continue with our growth with the new vehicles and the recruitment programme in our driving and warehouse teams.”
