Topspeed is in search of a proficient and certified Vehicle Technician to join our in-house Workshop team.
Working with our Workshop Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the upkeep and restoration of our fleet of Mercedes vans, guaranteeing their road-worthiness and adherence to regulations.
Your responsibilities will encompass addressing sporadic breakdown matters, conducting diagnoses, and effecting repairs, all geared towards optimising dependability and operational performance. A strong command over both mechanical and electrical aspects of vehicles, coupled with exceptional troubleshooting skills, will be indispensable in this role.
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
- Routine maintenance and servicing
- Knowledge of use of diagnostic scanner tool
- Planned maintenance inspections (PMI)
- MOT preparation and repair
- Tyre fitting, wheel balancing and repairs
- Wheel torque and quality control
- Wheel balancing
- Battery replacement
- Brake replacements discs and pads shoes and drums etc
- Clutch replacements and repairs
- Steering and suspension repairs
- Light bulbs and lamp replacements
- Ensure all vehicles are road worthy and compliant.

Licence/Certification:
- NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent in light vehicle maintenance.
- Full driving licence is required.
- Mobile Air conditioning trained is desirable.
- HV Qualified (we can provide training for the right candidate)
