We endeavour to conduct all our business in an honest transparent and ethical manner, and in line with The Modern Slavery Act 2015, the Topspeed directors take a serious approach towards slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking.
As a business, we are committed to the promotion of ethical business practices and policies that protect workers from being abused and exploited in their own organisations and global supply chains.
Sarah Ginham-Clegg, Assurance Director comments “we work hard to ensure that we adhere to these policies outlined in The Modern Slavery Act 2015, and my role within the business is to observe the code and to ensure Topspeed is compliant. We are fully aware that our industry is one that has been renowned for operating in the Gig Economy, with a high turnover of employees, and shoddy employment practices. We pride ourselves on the fact that Topspeed has never operated using short-term or self-employed drivers”
Recently Sarah in her capacity as Assurance Director completed a course with the Charity “Unseen” which operate in real-life situations in the UK, and we are now considering face-to-face training to be undertaken with all the management team at the Winsford Hub.
Sarah stated, “the course was excellent and a real eye opener to the realities of the problem in the UK”.
