At Topspeed, we understand that training is not just a checkbox; it’s the cornerstone of our commitment to excellence. That’s why we’ve established our own in-house Academy, dedicated to nurturing, and empowering our workforce.
Our Academy fosters a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. We offer a range of specialised courses designed to equip our teams with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the stringent regulations governing the transportation of regulated items. From understanding the intricacies of compliance to mastering the nuances of safety protocols, our courses leave no stone unturned.
But we don’t stop there. Recognising the value of external expertise, we partner with leading training providers to deliver targeted workshops that address specific needs. One such partnership is with the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS), the UK Government agency renowned for its impartiality and expertise in employment matters.
ACAS has been instrumental in providing bespoke training to our workforce, particularly in areas such as raising awareness of unacceptable behaviour in the workplace. Their insights and guidance have proven invaluable in shaping a respectful and inclusive work environment where every individual feels valued and empowered.
Sarah Ginham-Clegg, HR & Assurance Director comments “Our commitment to training extends beyond mere compliance; it’s about encouraging a culture of accountability and professionalism at every level of our organisation. That’s why we ensure that this essential training is not a one-off event but a recurring process, with sessions successfully delivered every two years to our management team and is in the process of being rolled out to our driver teams too.”
“We believe in the power of investing in our people, we are not just shaping employees; we’re nurturing leaders who are ready to tackle challenges, uphold our values, and propel our business forward with confidence and integrity”.
