I once spent two hours driving round in circles through a well-known town because the slip road to the motorway was shut and I kept following the sat-nav every time it re calculated the route back to the slip road that was closed.

What fictional mode of transportation would you like to travel in? The Harry Potter Knight bus – being able to rush through traffic and squeeze through tight spots especially at rush hour without being seen, although I think I’d prefer softer braking!

What’s been your best road trip? Driving down Boterekwa (Wolfshall Pass) with my family whilst playing the song Boterekwa by singer Simon Chimbetu. Boterekwa is in my hometown of Shurugwi in Zimbabwe.

What do you do? As the Accounting Manager, I help the business make critical financial decisions by reconciling bank statements and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year, which includes making sure payables and receivables are up to date, preparing and reviewing the company’s financial statements and reporting to the Directors. I am also in charge of ensuring everyone gets paid!
Favourite mode of transport and why? Would have to be a Canal Boat, as it allows you to take in the beauty of the countryside at a leisurely pace

Do you have any funny stories about travelling? My first job meant travelling from Welwyn Garden City to Kings Cross London by train daily and more than once I would fall asleep on the journey home, miss my stop and wake up in Cambridge about 40 miles away!

What do you do? As Warehouse Manager, I am forklift and ADR trained and supervise the receipting, dispatching, and storage of goods. I manage vehicle cleanliness, and other equipment, and oversee security during the day shift. Additionally, I help with auditing of the vehicles and as the head fire marshall, I control the weekly testing of the fire alarms. I am also First aid trained.
What’s on your road trip wish list? North coast 500 in Scotland, there are some amazing scenes – great for camping and making memories.
