What was your favourite mode of transport and why? My recently acquired fully electric car, it is a dream to drive, I can ‘refuel’ without leaving the house, and the colour is an amazing metallic red!

Best road trip taken? Driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles in a Ford Mustang!

What do you do? Support the business in all matters relating to HR and Recruitment and the onboarding of new employees.

Do you have any funny stories about getting lost while driving or using public transportation? I once spent two hours driving round in circles through a well-known town because the slip road to the motorway was shut and I kept following the sat-nav every time it re calculated the route back to the slip road that was closed.

Do you have any funny stories about getting lost while driving or using public transportation? I once got a train to Liverpool thinking I was getting a train to Birmingham

What do you do? As well as early morning bookings, I am responsible for reporting our performance on behalf of a couple of our clients.

If you could choose any car in the world to drive for a day, which one would it be and why? The Ferrari F40, not only do we share a birth year. It was the last car designed by Enzo Ferrari.

What do you do? I book the driver’s in and out, as well as general maintenance to keep the Warehouse in tip top shape.. and I’m usually the one with a friendly smile and a few bad jokes!

Best road trip taken? The A701 Moffat Road to Edinburgh is just amazing!

Best road trip wish taken? It would definitely have to be when we visited Snowdonia – beautiful scenery!

What do you do? I brief/debrief drivers and ensure offloading, sorting and loading of consignments is handled effectively as well as attending to customer enquiries.

What’s been your best road trip? Driving down Boterekwa (Wolfshall Pass) with my family whilst playing the song Boterekwa by singer Simon Chimbetu. Boterekwa is in my hometown of Shurugwi in Zimbabwe.

What do you do? I organise the safe transportation of secure and confidential items, mainly documents, data files, hard drivers, and computer data storage.

What’s on your road trip wish list? Travelling around Asia would be great, especially Tokyo.

What do you do? I manage a team of approximately 100 drivers, and together with the Transport Manager ensure that Topspeed remains compliant with the law and that drivers adhere to company policies and procedures.

If you could travel in any fictional mode of transportation, which would you choose and why? Doc Brown’s DeLorean. I suppose I am drawn to the chaos of it!

If you could travel in any fictional mode of transportation, which would you choose and why? It would definitely be the Millennium Falcon, what Star Wars fan wouldn’t want a ride in the coolest vehicle in the Star Wars galaxy?

What do you do? As the Accounting Manager, I help the business make critical financial decisions by reconciling bank statements and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year, which includes making sure payables and receivables are up to date, preparing and reviewing the company’s financial statements and reporting to the Directors. I am also in charge of ensuring everyone gets paid!

Favourite mode of transport and why? Would have to be a Canal Boat, as it allows you to take in the beauty of the countryside at a leisurely pace

What do you do Assist with the planning of routes and communicate with the Drivers. I am also one of the members of staff that deals with Customer orders and requests.

Do you have any funny stories about travelling?  My first job meant travelling from Welwyn Garden City to Kings Cross London by train daily and more than once I would fall asleep on the journey home, miss my stop and wake up in Cambridge about 40 miles away!

What do you do? As Warehouse Manager, I am forklift and ADR trained and supervise the receipting, dispatching, and storage of goods. I manage vehicle cleanliness, and other equipment, and oversee security during the day shift.  Additionally, I help with auditing of the vehicles and as the head fire marshall, I control the weekly testing of the fire alarms.  I am also First aid trained.

What’s on your road trip wish list? North coast 500 in Scotland, there are some amazing scenes – great for camping and making memories.

What’s on your road trip wish list? It would have to be the USA to see the sights there, or alternatively go to Japan and see Mount Fuji.
