Five have ADR training

Topspeed drivers get ADR Trained

This week another five Topspeed Courier drivers have undertaken five days of ADR training. Almost half of our drivers are now specialist ADR trained.

Under government guidelines, drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods in packages, are required to hold a special certificate of training – known as an ADR Certificate.

The course provides drivers with information and the tools so that they:

  • are aware of the hazards in the carriage of dangerous goods
  • can take steps to reduce the likelihood of an incident taking place
  • can take all necessary measures for their own safety and that of the public and the environment to limit the effects of any incident that does occur
  • have individual practical experience of the actions they will need to take

Dave Turner, Managing Director says “specialist training, in particular ADR, is an investment that we are committed to ensuring that we provide our fully bespoke and flexible services to our customers”
