As part of its ongoing development programme as Topspeed continues to grow in size, in October 2015 our managers, support staff and Directors attended Diversity Training delivered by ACAS in our Knutsford Head Office.
The three hour workshop focussed on:
- raising staff awareness of discrimination legislation and the implications i.e. race discrimination, sex discrimination, disability discrimination, sexual orientation discrimination, religion or belief discrimination, age discrimination, equal pay, rehabilitation of offenders
- dealing effectively with bullying and harassment
- raising awareness of cultural issues in the workplace
- diversity
- avoiding discrimination in recruitment and selection
- equality issues in procurement
- performing monitoring and impact assessments
